Introduction

Why go to Tibet? Apart from its ancient unique culture and mysterious religion, there are mighty mountains, endless trekking places, fascinating Gompas,  kind and fun-loving Tibetans and its amazing turquoise lakes.

We specialize in organizing small tour groups travelling throughout Tibet and our trips range from four-day culture tours to four-week trekking expeditions – no matter what you are looking for in Tibet, you will definitely find it with us!

Most of our tours start or end with visit to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. The mighty Potala Palace, the holy Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery, Barkhor market are just a few of the fascinating sights we will take you to. Potala Palace is a UNESCO world heritage and features an overwhelming array of intricate murals, stupas, tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas, exquisite Tibetan Mandalas and other relics of Tibetan history. Jokhang temple lying 2 km to the east is another Tibetan religious site. If you wish to glimpse into Tibetan culture, what could be more insightful than exploring Barkhor markets! As you wander around the market, you witness Tibetan arts, culture, custom and tradition.

Depending on your interest, you can make a day trip Namtso Lake, stopping by Yampachen Hot Spring or spend 2 - 3 days in the "Switzerland of Tibet" - Nyinchi to experience the lush plantation and glacier, or you can add Tsetang and Yarlung to your itinerary- another area rich in history and Buddhism influence.

For those adventure-minded travelers, treks to Mt. Everest base camp will certainly be the highlight of your trip. From Everest Base Camp (5200m/17000ft) you can enjoy an uninhibited view of the north face of Mt. Everest. Sunset and sunrise views of Mt. Everest are not to be missed.

Kailash Mountain and Lake Manasarovor Kora tours are not just pilgrims' destination but also backpacker/trekkers' heaven. Ngari Prefecture where Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovor remains one of the few uninhabited areas of Tibet. The tranquility is unspeakable.
